About Us!
Carolina Creations is owned by artists Janet and Michael Francoeur. We sell our work and the work of over 300 well known artists and craftsmen.

Our gallery is located in the beautiful town of New Bern, North Carolina on the Neuse River near the point that it joins the Pamlico Sound. We have chosen the most exciting work we can find and it ranges from fun to fabulous!

Carolina Creations began as a gallery featuring only North Carolina artists, the focus continues to be that but we have added work from across North America as we meet new artists in our travels and find work we just HAVE to have.

After six years there the Francoeurs love of the water won out and they began searching for a new home. They arrived in New Bern, North Carolina in 1989 where Janet immediately began drawing the lovely town. It was there she began to add color to her drawings then moved on to watercolor, oil and clay.

They opened their gallery in Downtown New Bern in 1990, in 1995 Michael joined the endeavor and soon became interested in pottery and began to throw. He has studied with Elizabeth Priddy and Stephen Jepson.

In 1998 they moved the gallery to 321 Pollock Street and in March of 2002 they purchased the building beside them at 317 Pollock Street and after extensive renovations moved their gallery in June of 2003.
