Hand crafted sterling, 14kt & 18 kt jewelry at Carolina Creations by Gregory Pyra Wearable Art
Born in Warsaw, Poland, Gregory Pyra has been painting and creating jewelry most of his life. His unusual jewelry pieces are totally hand sculpted. The jewelry is made with a European technique using a torch that melts wire metal into unique, never repeated shapes.
Gregory's jewelry is set with an infinite variety of stones, minerals, or fossils, which include anything from pearls, sea glass, ammonite, or sea shells to cabachon stones or facet cut stones such as amethyst, rhodolite, garnets, peridot, and tourmalines. He creates custom work using diamonds, sapphires, and rubies and can use stones that the collector provides.
His work is widely collected in the US and Europe and is in several museums including the Malbork Castle Museum in Poland and is owned by the Swedish Royal Family. Carolina Creations has represented Gregory since 2000 and he has a large following in the area.
