Liz Palacios is the founder and head designer of Liz Palacios Designs, Ltd.  The eldest of three sisters, Liz was born in New York City to a family of Colombian immigrants.  She developed an interest in antique jewelry at the age of 18, acquiring pieces throughout the years as a hobby.  In 1987, this interest inspired Palacios to launch a business based on her personal passion.  Today, the company remains headquartered in San Francisco's South of Market District.  Emphasis is placed on superior quality.  Highly skilled professionals produce the handmade and labor intensive jewelry.

Liz uses brass as the metal in her pieces and it is either antiqued or plated with gold or sterling silver.  All jewelry remains nickel free.  She use Swarovski crystals, semi precious stones, pearls and hand-painted enamel.  Wires on the earrings are sterling silver or gold filled and posts are surgical steel.
